Nurse Practitioner, David Porto, was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Southeast Community College in 2009 and went on to complete his Bachelor of Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2013. David’s background is diverse, having served as a field medic in the U.S. Army for 10 years, including a deployment under Operation Enduring Freedom in Kosovo. With years of hands-on clinical experience, David has provided compassionate and skilled care across various healthcare settings.
David pursued advanced training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he earned his Master of Science in Nursing in 2024. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, he is committed to delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on both acute and chronic health management.
Dedicated to continuous learning and professional development, David holds multiple certifications and is an active member of professional nursing organizations.
Outside of work, David is a self-proclaimed nerd, enjoys weightlifting, and mountain biking, and is a passionate music lover. He’s also a loving father of five children. David is accepting patients at our Pioneer Greens location.
